North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee is celebrating a successful multi-agency learning event that focused on listening to children and young people.  Tam Baillie, Commissioner for Children and Young People gave the key note address and, in addition to hearing about new national research on Talking and Listening to Children, 100 delegates from across all services in North Ayrshire participated in three workshops developed locally.  Every aspect of the conference was informed by the perspective of children and young people.  This included young people co-facilitating workshops, young people as delegates and MSYP’s in attendance.  What a great day!
