This week North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee launched a new resource – a DVD called “Gordy’s Story” – which helps children understand they have the right to be safe and that they should talk to an adult if they are worried about anything. The launch event was supported by the Provost of North Ayrshire and Councillor John Bell, who joined members of North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee at Brisbane Primary School where a group of very excited primary 1’s and 2’s enjoyed the premier of the DVD. Gordy himself also made an appearance. Look at those happy faces!!
