North Ayrshire Childrens Services Plan

North Ayrshire’s Children’s Services Strategic Partnership has developed a Draft Children’s Service Plan 2016-20 which has been written in a way that, we hope, will engage all children and young people in North Ayrshire to make sure that they are at the centre of everything we do. It tells children and young people what we promise to do to help them as they grow up.

Aims, as set out in the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, are to:

– best safeguard, support and promote your wellbeing
– ensure that any action to meet your needs is taken at the earliest appropriate time and that action is taken to prevent needs arising
– be most joined up from a child or young person’s point of view
– make the best use of available resources.

We want to give every child in North Ayrshire the best start in life and have said how we plan to do this.

Feedback
We would like to hear your views and comments about this Draft Plan. We want to know if you agree that our promises would help or if you think there are other things we should be doing over the next 4 years to make sure North Ayrshire is the best place in Scotland to grow up.
