North Ayrshire PRISM recognised at national conference

WithScotland recently held their annual conference highlighting key issues and developments in child protection and adult support and protection.  As part of this prestigious event, PRISM, the reflective learning module developed by North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee was accepted as part of a showcase gallery highlighting best practice examples.

PRISM- Practice Reflection and Improvement Short Module – is a multi agency practitioner event which involves North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee presenting findings of local joint evaluation of child protection services and facilitating peer reflection on practice.  These opportunities are designed to engage front line staff more meaningfully in self evaluation and improvement.

We have run four PRISM events throughout 2014, each focusing on a different aspect of child protection, and all have evaluated very highly.

We would encourage all staff to attend the 2015 PRISM’s to benefit from these valuable reflective learning modules.

2015 dates are currently being finalised – four sessions will take place between April 15 and December 15.

Keep visiting our website for updates and look out for PRISM flyers which publicise these events.

We look forward to seeing you at our next PRISM!
