100 staff from across many different services in Ayrshire came along to the inaugural Protecting Partnerships Event held in Fullerton Connexions Irvine on Monday 22nd May.

Chaired by Elma Murray, Chief Executive, North Ayrshire Council, this event was an opportunity for all partnerships involved in protecting people to describe their roles and responsibilities and how each link with one another.  North Ayrshire Child Protection Committee, North Ayrshire Adult Protection Committee, North Ayrshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership, North Ayrshire Violence Against Women Partnership, MAPPA and Community Justice Ayrshire were the six partnerships showcasing their work, which was further illustrated by a high impact drama performed by Breeze Productions. Even Gordy put in an appearance!
